Pinklay is a premier lifestyle brand that focuses on bringing Indian handcrafts to the forefront. It partners with local artisans to fuse heritage handcraft techniques with contemporary designs and modern colours to create stunning products for you and your home. Our designs are rooted in colour that is tasteful and authentic, and crafted to convey stories inspired from natural elements, diverse crafts, and cultures around the world. Each handcrafted piece is a conversation starter, intended to create memories.

When our founder, Daisy Tanwani, first sat at the drawing board to pen down what she wished to create, these were the first few lines she wrote that continue to drive and inspire everything we do at Pinklay:

“Pinklay is a welcome pause, away from the humdrum. A visual delight, a fresh breath of life. It believes, it hopes. It’s joyful in appearance and sincere in character. It’s a keeper.”

Started in 2015 with five unique items, Pinklay today designs, manufactures, and sells over 750+ unique products in over 30+ countries worldwide. Central to all our creations are the original designs that are painstakingly created over a period of 9-12 months to arrive at a collection that is truly worthy of its name and your home. We currently engage over 200+ artisans across art forms, ranging from hand block print, kantha, dabu, bagru, ajrakh, kalamkari, ikat, embroidery, patchwork, metal etching, wood carving, and hand painting to name a few. Each artisan is a master craftsman with skill passed down over generations.

We strive to be a sustainable business, working only with pure fabrics and keeping away from all synthetic materials, leather, and plastic. Pinklay is conscious of its environmental impact, and this is reflected not just in our products, but the entire value chain from production to packaging. In addition, the brand promotes gender equality and encourages women to enter mainstream workforce to earn a respectable living. Many of our workshops are exclusively led and run by women, from the plush toy workshop that upskills underprivileged women, to the hand quilting facility that is run by women-led artisans.

We are grateful for the trust you place in us and your continued patronage. If you have questions or suggestions, or simply want to say hello, drop us a note through one of our channels. We are listening…
